How heat losses from a house are minimised in winter by controlling each of the methods of heat transfer?

Hi there!

I have been asked to create a poster on how heat losses from a house are minimised in winter by controlling each of the methods of heat transfer - any suggestions ? (:How heat losses from a house are minimised in winter by controlling each of the methods of heat transfer?
1. close off the flow of hot and cold air in and out via windows doors

2. insulate walls, floors, ceilings, roofs

3. open window blinds let sun in, then close at night

hmm there are more, I can't think ofHow heat losses from a house are minimised in winter by controlling each of the methods of heat transfer?
1. Close drapes and pull down window shades to minimize heat loss from radiation through window panes.

2. Insulate walls to minimize heat loss from conduction through the walls and attic floors.

3. Use weather strips and caulking to minimize the loss of air and heat through cracks by convection.
